SPRINGFIELD
— A local business is proposing to open a marijuana facility for retail
sales, cultivation and manufacturing at the former Macy’s at the
Eastfield Mall.
David Mech, president
of Cannaworld Inc., of Springfield, said he is proposing to locate the
retail store in a portion of the first floor at 1685 Boston Road, and
the cultivation/manufacturing facility on the second floor.
The
public is invited to attend a community outreach meeting, scheduled 7
p.m. March 27 at the Eastfield Mall Food Court, for details of the
proposal and to ask questions.
American Girl closed down in the Natick Mall, and Payless closed down in the mall where Target is. Could one of these be a shop, are they within our allowed district for pot?
ReplyDeleteThe mall that's in Framingham is zoned for pot stores for sure. Natick is relegating them to E Natick Industrial park and perhaps behind the tire store complex on the west bound side of Rte 9
ReplyDeleteI think that is the prefect place for a pot shop. RIght next to a Panera Bread. Feed those munchies!
