Would the federal government really bail a state out? And if they will, then forget the tax increases and toll hikes, just let them bail MA out too. Why should some states get help and not others? We should have an in for that type of bailout, after all our governor is a friend of the Pres, right?B. GM is selling off some it's product lines and sticking with what works. I can't imagine this country without GM and as much as I would love to have my 57 Chevy Belair back, huge gas powered monsters are a thing of the past and I do think GM will be making a big comeback with fuel efficient, stylish and reliable cars.

Look for California to be next on the bail out list if they can't get their fiscal house in order.Jim Pillsburyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13994415040029248494noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8517736040315331529.post-84380496783684158392009-06-03T09:49:18.748-04:002009-06-03T09:49:18.748-04:00GM – how is that going to impact me here in Framin...GM – how is that going to impact me here in Framingham? I just can not muster concern for the rest of the country at the moment as I am worried enough about my own situation and the situation of the town I live in, Framingham. GM failing is a tradgedy but it is not then end of the world, at least not for me here in Framingham. There are more pressing issues for me.Framingham residenthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03059625912799850621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8517736040315331529.post-66966391284203424912009-06-03T08:23:19.696-04:002009-06-03T08:23:19.696-04:00Who makes the choice on who we bail out and who we...Who makes the choice on who we bail out and who we don't bail out? THis GM bankruptcy is going to put thousands of people out of work with skills that are not necessarily easily transferable to other industries. How are we going to deal with that? What is going to happen to all the plants set up to build these cars they say they are no longer going to build? I am no economist, I have trouble balancing my families budget, but from my seat, this is a big mistake to let these guys go under. We did we bail out AIG and not GM?Angry in Framinghamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03953776091630649567noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8517736040315331529.post-29668647577043250232009-06-03T07:47:28.548-04:002009-06-03T07:47:28.548-04:00Didn't you fight to have Dare removed from the...Didn't you fight to have Dare removed from the schools years ago?
