Equifax and the breach
Once again, our finical institutions have come under attack. According to USA Today, 143 million users may have had their personal info taken. And of coarse, the top dogs of the company sold some of their stock holdings before the bad news hit. Equifax is giving away a protection plan and is worth checking into. And now, the Mass AG is suing them as well.
I suggest everyone who reads this blog to enroll in the free credit check offered by Equifax. They hold 143 million records of many people and it appears now that they knew about the problem months before they notified anyone.
