Since decrim of marijuana in 2008... Police are arresting fewer people
We said it many many years ago... stop arresting marijuana users and watch the crime stats go down. Thanks to some good investigative reporting by the MWDN, they have shown clearly that arrests are down and fewer people are in court. No big surprise to me and since we pushed for decrim in 2008, the results are clear. And now with legalization, the hundreds of drug arrests in Framingham every year have stopped. Allowing cops to spend more time on true crime.
I'm proud to say I had a part in this trend.

Will Audrey even bring this up on her show? Does Rossi even know about this? Why are the informed leading this disucssion?

Thats Framingham and the marijuana issue. Like many times in the Ways and Means meetings, when information was questioned, it went no where. Rossi is just a good solider, following Giombetti's orders. All of this to get even with me when I pushed back his (Giombetti) Planning Board restrictions when medical pot was voted on in 2014.
The truth is never discussed on Audrey's show, it's all about maintaining the status quo and her relationship with those who have run the Town in the past and are doing so now.
Since you brought up Giombetti, what about what he had to say about the the Mayor's picks for ZBA? Haven't we all had enough of the Phil O ZBA? Now there's a blog post that would be worthy reading.
