The Mayor's report from the COO

Have a look at how the Council is getting along with the COO. From the outside looking in... the COO is not aware of a long standing customer service policy that's been in place for years as a Town.
The constant friction seems to be getting worse.
Is this what the Charter folks envisioned?

The Mayor's report starts at 38:24. It gets testy at 41:57 and goes on.

now that's funny...
But if you watch the clip, there does seem to be animosity towards the COO almost every week. I do think the COO should be more aware of the long standing policies in Town and address the shortfalls in public relations.

COO is like Rocky. He comes in for a weekly beating and leaves with a see ya next week smile.

The Mayor has asked for an apology. Tune in tonight to see if that happens at the City Council meeting at 7:15 on your Gov TV channel.

Must watch tv tonight. Personnally, I do think they owe the COO and apology. One of the main things we asked candidates was about getting along with the mayor because the first round of bozo city councilors can not do that. Unfortunately, those that are staying on for a second term are the bulk of the problem. They expect respect, but don't give it, especially Cannon. Can not figure out how the hell he got elected with his reputation, and why no one ran against him this time.

This is beyond bizzare. The Mayor asking for an apology from the city council for her COO? Can't Keezer speak for himself?

The COO is paid to take flak but not to be badgered

But is this the best we can hope for from our city government? Why aren't some of the lingering issues dealt with of-line? If e mails are not replied to in a timely matter, why not just go to the Mayor directly? Giombeti could do that, after all, the COO reports to the Mayor. If her staff is rude, bring it to the Mayor. It's up to the Mayor to make sure the polices of the Town were implemented as a City. Or am I all wrong?

I hope the chair sends a message with an apology. Pay close attention to the Mayor's report, which looking at the agenda (13 items, could be later in the evening.

Mayor is right person to be asking since she is the boss of these employees. The council disrespects her employees she is right person to be asking for an apology and for that type of treatment to stop. Above is right, Cannon is worst offender. But Giombetti is spineless to use his gavel, or maybe purposely doesn't and just lets Cannon play the bad cop.
