The Nursing Home ballot question won't happen this year

The ballot question for Nursing Home funding (which couldn't have come at a more dire time) has been withdrawn. The sponsors say it's the pandemic that has hurt their attempts at gaining enough signatures. Keep in mind... Beacon Hill COULD take this matter up, but none of them have the will.
It's a dam shame because the question would have passed overwhelmingly IMO. Knowing what we know now about the amount of deaths and not enough PPE or staffing, the public would have been more knowledgeable about what the needs are from the nursing homes and the workers who risk their lives taking care of our seniors.
