This is bad news for all of us. How can they continue to give our money to these greedy incompetents? There will be people protesting in the streets if this keeps up.

This is bullshit! Someone stripped this plan out. I want to know who that someone was. How do we find that out Mr. Pillsbury?

Neighbors,

I will search out who voted.. or not voted for this exemption.

Just when I thought the line was being held on this "one" issue.. they retreat... and hide. It may turn out to be a bunch of Republicans that gave this back. It certainly doesn't help Obama get us to buy in.

There will be more on this in the next few days... it's all still not signed off on yet, but I will do my part and send a note to Markey... not that that will matter to him at all, but I can ask how he voted.

Good news that they are back in, but I would still be intersted in knowing how they got out in the first place. It only got fixed because of people like you who pay attention to this. They bank on people now knowing what is actually going on. Thanks again Jim.

More of the same. It should never have come out. So why are we so glad it went back in. They are playing us, and we are letting them do that. I for one am fed up!

Nice to know at some point they actually do what is right. But they would not if we were not paying attention. Thanks for paying attention Pillsbury.

Everyday there is more news. most of which I don't fully understand. All the republicans seemed to be against this bill. That worries me. Is there really a problem with the stimulus plan? I can't believe that it is just politics when the country is in such dire straits. Jim, your thoughts? Is the stimulus plan a good thing, or a horrible mistake?

Sox,

Time will tell if the plan works.. among other things, if you buy a car, bike, or are first time home buyer, there are tax incentives for you, if you make under 75K, have college education expenses, you'll get some tax relief. Un employment and food stamps will be increased. Some of the bail out will help some of us get by. Mr. Simmon, (if he doesn't resign or is forced from the "overseer post") will dole out monies to some of us, but that may only be to the select few that support the one party rule in this State, which will help carpenters, steel workers, tradesmen, etc, which is not a bad thing, but without serious oversight, any one of the shovel ready projects, could end up as micro big dig project, that as we all know now, will cost us more in the long run, to finish and maintain.

We have to believe in ourselves at some point. Seek out whatever truth lies behind the smoke screen that is laid before us, by corrupt and unethical political leaders, the media and those who are self serving to a dysfunctional State government. All of our neighbors need to get there heads out of the sand and demand justice, spend a little more time educating themselves about the world we now live in and make a commitment to creating a better State.
