Council meeting tonight 7:15.. discussion about the BOH move

Tune in tonight ComCast 99, RCN 13/HD 613, Verizon 42 to hear what the Council is going to discuss regarding the BOH move to Callahan. I suspect we will hear from Cannon on his ordinance. I'm hoping that the administration will have an idea to announce at the Mayor's report later in the evening. I'm also hoping Giombetti will ask for the Mayor's report first.

This is going to be a very interesting meeting. Is the Mayor there? She should be to explain and defend her position on the BOH moving to the Callahan Center. She should not be sending her lackey, Keezer. She throws him under the bus all the time and he allows it. Shocking to see someone allow someone else to take advantage of them that way. Keezer needs to grow a backbone.

Does the council have any say at all in this or is this just a chance for the council to bad mouth the process even though they cannot do anything about it?

As I understand it...as it stands with the monies already allocated for the move.. the council has no authority to stop it.
Cannon's ordinance I assume would come up... but I'm not clear how that would stop the move to Callahan. I've asked Cannon a few days ago, but he hasn't responded back.
I'm holding out hope, Giombetti will have the Mayor's report first and Keezer will have a new plan that everyone will like and if more money needs to be transferred, the Council approves it without much debate.
Or.. the council just may rag on the Mayor and get nothing done.

I suspect your last statement will be the outcome for tonight. They want to make her look bad instead of finding a solution to the mess she made. If you ask me we should vote them all out

When does she have to make her final decision? It would seem that has to be very soon. Hope someone asks her tonight about what other options she is considering since she has said that the move to the Callahan is not final

She did a good job last night. Good to see that she does listen to her constituents

Cannon is an embarrassment to your District Jim. Will you try running against him again?
