Pams News Letter

Read for yourself about Pam's new assignments from DeLeo.
Note what powers these committee's have. I can't wait to
see what if anything comes of this.

This is like letting the fox into the hen house. Come on guys, what are you thinking?

What exactly does it mean for her to be on these committees? What benefit does Framingham get from her having these appointments? Or does it just mean more money in her pocket? Is there anything good to be said for any of this?

Useless information. Why do we even bother reading it, or paying attention to her. She ignores us, we should ignore her back.

Gents,

While it is true that Pam ignores us... and also true we should ignore her... but at this point though, she now has been anointed by DeLeo as one of his loyalists. A pretty significant thing in my mind, as she has not the experience, talent or guts to do anything but what she is told to do. So.. he's a smart Ruler.. he surrounds himself with yes man and women.

The problem with this elevation of both her, Karen Spilka, Lynsky, etc is that we now will witness the true ill effect of what's wrong with our State: political contributions for favor and preferred treatment. As Deval gets his truck loads of our tax dollars,(stimulus package) Pam, Karen and Lynsky will have some anointed power to decide where the money goes, how it is spent and the auditing and oversight of large sums of money, our money.

As you all know, the lack of oversight and audit has been at the crutch of many problems here and it's my guess that we will see another round of inactively, secrecy and unethical behavior.

And as Derak points out... the foxes are in the hen house. It's up to us to watch where every dime goes and who it goes to.

Just so our readers know, what is NOT on Pam's web news letter is how she voted for some real reform in the House.
Voted against H 2009, Requiring Reps to report illegal voting by it's members. Voted against H 2009 requiring two thirds roll call vote to approve tax hikes. In another, "Post Committee roll calls votes on web site". And last week, the House rejected, "Equal Representation on Ethics Committee", "Audit House Accounts" and "Removal of Committee Chairs and Leadership".

None of this is good for us. Reform is not going to happen at the State House this year. They (the ruling elite) have ignored any attempts by the other party to be reasonable and fair and conduct business in the view of the voters. There have been a hand full of Dems who have voted for these Republican reforms, but their numbers are to small to be effective.

Now that Richardson, Spilka and Lynsky are on some of the committees, you will see exactly just how bad it will be for us, the non politically connected,in this State, with reform that's not reform at all, it's business as usual.
