Will Joe Kennedy run?

The big question for the day. If so, the others should just wait their turn. If not, the others, and there are many, have huge sums of money to throw at a campaign. Interestingly, the 4.5 million left in Ted's account would not be able to be used, the election laws state that the maximum is 2,000.00 that could come from Ted's war chest to help Joe. But the families worth, in the billions would not likely hinder Joe or any other family member from doing anything.

There's Coakley, Lynch, Capuono, Healy, Markey, and a host of political neanderthals just waiting for Joe to speak.

My money is on Joe. Only a Kennedy could start to fill a Kennedy's legacy.

Do I detect a tone of respect here for Kennedy from you Pillsbury? Would not have expected that from a Libertarian/Republican. Not giving you a hard time about it actually take this as a good thing. You may not have agreed with his liberal stand but he did a lot of good for the state and the country and was a man of his word and you can not take that away from him. No one is perfect including him but he left quite a legacy.

Lets hope Joe runs and wins. The thought of any of these other idiots in the US senate makes me sick to my stomach. Kennedy had power, prestige and respect and the knowledge and connections to get things done for the state of MA. None of the other people running has that. Joe does not either but his name, his family history and the love and respect others had for his uncle will benefit him because he is a Kennedy and that will benefit the entire state.

Absolutely.... fed,

Joe has my vote, regardless of who runs. The others will spend years trying to fill those shoes. Joe could hit the road running. I'm in favor of anyone who can get things done for the working class.... no matter the party

Surprised by your comments here Pillsbury but I do agree with them. Kennedy was a force for the state and his power will be sorely misses in these difficult times. Not sure that Joe can be as good, but I am sure no one else stands a chance so I would back Joe if given the opportunity. We can not expect Kerry to replace Kennedy. He has ridden on Kennedy’s coat tails for his whole time in the Senate. I think Joe Kennedy could do more for us as a freshman senator than Kerry can do as the experienced now senior senator for the state.
