Because of our county (Middlesex) being declared a disaster area, instead of April 15th as tax deadline, it's now May 11th. Hang on to your money as long as you can.
Hang on to my money as long as I can. Good advice, I like that line. Why the hell am I paying taxes when I was unemployed all year in the first place? Wasn’t my mistakes that caused this mess where everyone loses jobs. I just barely get by on my unemployment check, and they filabuster in the congress to keep from voting on an extension of my only lifeline, and then they ask me to pay a huge tax bill on the little I did receive. I would be happy to hand on to my money, if I only had some to hang on to.

So what do you do when May roles around? Still won’t have any money to pay the damm taxes, so what do I do then?
Mass offers a payment plan over a year or so.

Your not alone blog. Not much help I know, but somehow we must move on, despite the hurdles this economy has put up. Congress will pass the extension.
