Stefanini's LibraryGate
Have a looksee at the video. There's little doubt that John is making sure no one is watching as he removes Spicer's material. Some would say it's a childish act, other's would disagree. For me, it shows a blatant political act against someone who is splitting the party loyalists in her attempt at the Mayor's office. John must be so pissed that some of his potential supporters are helping Ms. Spicer and not him.
John's actions have been summed up by Town Manager Bob Halpin as a "great misunderstanding". The voters who see the video will disagree in my opinion, as he could be another politician who think they are above any laws, like his former boss, Tom Finneran.
This matter will not be forgotten by the voters.

These look like the actions of a very arrogant man who thinks he can do whatever he wants. Not the person I will be voting for mayor.
Talk about being caught in the act! Yet so many still support him in town. Reminds me of Trumps statement that he could shoot someone in Times Square and his supporters would still support him. I am shocked that that type of ignorance is so rampant here.
He without sin cast the first stone. Sure won't be Stefanin but is there anyone in this race who will be throwing stones under that rule?
So is this the beginnings of the "new Framingham" that was promised to us?
I think everyone who follows politics in the Town knew full well what would happen if we went city. They can say I told you so.. with pride.
Wait until we see who has given campaign donations to John, even after his screw up.
Ms. Spicer seems to be above the muck..Thankfully, but if others get on the ballot, lots of gravel will be thrown.
If he keeps up the behavior he has been exhibiting for many many years he will one of those to benefit from the pension regulations just supported by Rep. Walsh. Criminals who have worked for the state can still collect their pensions even when convicted. Stefanini must have been happy to see that law pass.
I agree Anon..
The Stefanini survey that arrived in my mailbox today asked what qualities I want in a mayor. There was no box for "Ethical behavior".
