MaCain's funeral
I hope some of our readers got to watch today the service for John McCain from the National Cathedral. What a moving and teary eyed experience. He truly was an American hero in so many ways. His 5.5 years in captivity in Vietnam as a POW will never be forgotten. His never ending drive to make this country better will also never be forgotten. His daughter's speech was fiery and direct, just like her dad's speeches. His sons also in the military, who look just like him and one who sounds similiar to him will carry on the McCain name and I hope one will enter the political arena someday.
Both President Obama and Bush gave wonderful speeches along with Liberman and Henry Kisinger. John McCain choreographed his departure from this earth and he will be missed by millions of Americans. A patriot among patriots, a man who knew pain and suffering like few others ever will and a man who didn't let any of that stop him from seeking out the truth, the rule of law and our constitution.
Rest in peace John McCain. Your country will always rember you and miss you.
