Covid Testing at various sites around Town

For those who have been turned away at Walsh, we know now why. The MWDN dug into why Walsh was being used to begin with. I wish the other digital news platforms would have asked about why Staples and the High School weren't testing sites. At least now I know, it's not Sam Wong's lack of long range planning. And it also is clear, the ambulance company will provide more people. This all better happen pretty soon as the bad weather is closing in. The SMOC and Amazing Things site seem to be working well and are in the right part of Town.

And if you haven't heard about the 81 year old Framingham grandfather who believed Trump about not wearing a mask and died this week.... have a look, it's heartbreaking.

It appears the BOH is looking for a larger empty parking lot. My only suggestion would be the AMC theater parking lots on Fluite Pass.

With all the empty buildings around Framingham there should be someplace to set up another testing site with better access.

What about asking houses of worship to use their lots during times they are not holding religious services?

If other communitities can set up successful testing sites why can't we do that here in Framingham? This is just ridiculous that we say there is no where to set this up. What about the Perinia building, or any one of the closed schools?

why is it that every single thing we do in Framingham is a problem/ Other communitites are dealing with high Covid rates and testing without these types of problems. Is our city that big a mess or is our leader that out of touch?

It's the blind leading the afraid

I made a mistake, the Source did say why Staples site was stopped. They wanted their parking lot back.

has anyone taken the test at Walsh? I read that there were lots of out-of-state plates, I'm wondering why anyone from CT, RI, NH, NY or VT would drive here? Wouldn't that make contact tracing even more difficult?

Jim its easy to miss something like that in the source. I stopped reading her stories on covid since every story was slanted to show the mayor and her staff in an unfavorable light.

It's the adds that are placed so that you have to throttle threw them to get the rest of the story. Even the Globe and MWDN doesn't do that.

I would agree, she's no fan of the Mayor and it shows in her writing.

The source is not real journalism. It is obvious who susan supports and she is blatantly biased. You see more real reporting on Patch and MWD. Those doe read the Source are like those watching Fox they just want one side of the story. No facts required
