Nobscot zoning meeting tonight... it's remote

Reminder: Tonight's Planning and Zoning Subcommittee will meet (Remote) to discuss the proposed changes to the Nobscot Map. These changes would allow B 4 to be extended into the Residential area along EDGELL and EDMANDS roads and the land between them and LIVOLI. .  This would include Mixed Use i.e higher. "multi-unit buildings" and business/commercial in a current R 4 area and includes a portion of conservation land.

You can participate in the meeting by signing on

As Ms. long stated last night, the one reason for the meeting was to pick a date for a public meeting to discuss a zoning map change, without a proposal from the developer. The map provided for the meeting is hard to understand.
It's clear many at the zoom meeting were against any zoning map change.

There seems to be some questions on this process, including whether the developer has actually submitted what can be called a proposal. Since there seems to be no consensus on what that process should be I see a major disaster lurking on the horizon.

Didn't Phil say two weeks ago, it's all legal, (the letter from the developer)? I assume our legal team gave it their blessing.
But I'm sure I heard the city has just two months or so to have a public hearing and a vote of whether to change the zoning map for those 18 parcels.
