Excruciating video of Uvaldi cops doing nothing while kids were being killed
This video is just heartbreaking to watch and even more heartbreaking for the parents of those kids who were in the classroom begging for the cops to rescue them. The heavely armed police didn't have the guts to confront that crazy shooter and whats worse is that we are still hearing and seeing facts that are slowly and painfully being released. One resource officer drove by the shooter to fast to do anything and another had the shooter in his sights but waited for superiors to tell him to shoot.
I still am waiting to hear from SC Chair Sousa or anybody in the FPS administration for answers to me questions about Framingham's readiness and how we can help prevent such a horrific disaster from happening here.

It's very clear now the 376 officers did not do their job. Also clear are the failures of the ICS (Incident Command Staff) to take control of the situation. As well as the school department for allowing poor maintenance of the building security system that seems to be not working correctly at the time. And still today, there's no word from anyone at the schools, the Mayor's office, the city council or the Police department or the PTO's or parent's.
From CNN: Of the 376 responders, 149 were from the United States Border Patrol, 14 were from the Department of Homeland Security and 91 were from the Texas DPS. The report did not state when officers from each responding agency arrived on scene.

those376 cops should all be fire if you ask me for their cowardly behavior
I heard that the ones who actually went in to shoot the killer were border patrol cops, not even the cops whose job it was to do this. Texas is big on everyone having the right to bear arms but I guess they are not big on having cops with enough guts to stand up to those people carrying those guns
Last week I asked Ms. Sousa in an email 5 questions. At the latest SC meeting the group asked and the security director answered two of them:
Are the doors alarmed to sound when they are left open?
Who is making the authorities aware of kids who drop out or kids who are violent at school?
Whose call is it to storm an active shooter in a classroom?
Is it the responsibility of the armed resource officer to stop any armed intruder?
What was the outcome of the shell casings found at 2 schools?

I am dismayed at the lack of understanding on the SC and even more dismayed with the security chief as he has had time and the budget money to make schools more secure, but from what I heard, doors are not alarmed in every school, keys to doors (who knows who have them) and security cameras still not in all areas of school property, including the parking lots.
I saw that security guy for the city say that he has to focus on cameras that are needed inside the high school and does not have the money right now for cameras in the parking lots as requested apparently by some students. This tells me that Framingham schools are not as well equipped and well prepared to deal with an active shooter situation as we have been led to believe. More lies, and I suspect that are still more lies we will all be told on this topic.
In my opinion, the highly paid security chief should be directing and orchestrating his plans to increase security not asking what the schools need, he should know now what NEEDS to be done. Securing doors and camera's seem to be low hanging fruit already picked.
After seeing the body cam footage released yesterday I'm even more convinced that body cams, dash cams for FPD needs to happen now with no more lame excuses. The Police Chief is over his head and is afraid while one yellow cop is heard saying, "we need to get in there".
Justice will only come to the families of the kids and teachers when those who are pledged to protect and serve end up being charged with negligence and stripped of their badges.
