P.O.S.T Commission updates

Have a look at the current results of the POST Commission. You can see which police officers from various communities have been certified and not certified. Thankfully FPD is not listed or any of our officers but I suspect the recent news of long time FPD employee's got out before the scrutiny of the POST commission but have no first hand knowledge of why they left.

The Commission seems to be working the way it was intended and the bad apples are being plucked out of the basket. The Commission has only gone through A-H and has the rest of officers whose names ends in I through Z to review.

I am surprised to see no issues with Framingham officers. One would have thought the shooting of an innocent man that resulted in his death would have warranted losing your job

Officer Duncan was never charged with any crime. But Officer Brown was charged if i recall. The rest of the officers H through Z have to be vetted as well.

Most reasonable people would agree... Paul Duncan (who shot and killed Eurie Stamps) should have lost his job by now.

What was Brown charged with, anyone know?

The judge said Brown's actions that day were close to being an assault, a lesser charge than felony assault with a dangerous weapon that Chernoff could have found Brown guilty of. Ultimately Chernoff found Brown's action "fell just short" of meeting the standard of guilt for misdemeanor assault.

Brown and his partner Leonard Pini had pulled onto the EZ Storage property, and Brown admitted getting out of the unmarked police SUV and urinating in the woods.

Just another example of the system protecting their own. Did you really expect this to work here in Framingham where we seem to think the rules don't apply to us?
