The man who was beaten to death at a check-point
I hope all would remember this case from Nov, when a Worcester man who allegedly caused Sheriffs thugs, local cop thugs and jack booted State cops to beat a man to death for allegedly hitting an officer. The medical examiner ruled 45 year old Thomas Howe had died of "blunt impact of the head and torso with compression of the chest". The fact that the medical examiner has taken this long to determine cause of death leaves me no option but to think cover-up. This two month period could have given those time to manipulate evidence and build story lines.
Mr Howes crime was that he was in possession of a joint and had refused to leave the vehicle. Keep in mind, after a brief chase, Mr. Howe was in hand cuffs and leg irons, according to the globe. The thugs actually recorded some of what happened with photo graphs that span 11 minutes.
As I had written back in November, the thugs had said Mr. Howe had a look about him that caused them to focus on him.
Justice better be served here.

This is such a clear and obvious case of police brutality I do not see how there can be any question. I don’t think I hear anything about any of the officers involved needing medical treatment, so obvioulsy, this man was not a threat. Even if he was, are they going to claim that with all those officers present they could not get this man on the ground and into cuffs without beating him? I hope the wife of this man sues them for lots and lots and lots of money, wins, and then continues to go public with what happened to her husband. And of course these cops should all be joining the ranks of the unemployed. What happens next in this process Jim?
Annon... I believe a wrongful death suit is in the making, regardless of any criminal or the lack of, prosecution. As we may not know the truth for some time.
I wonder how many of those cops, sheriffs and Five 0 storm troopers involved in this tragedy are degreed? Remember, smarter cops make better cops.
Degreed or not these guys belong in jail for murder. There is no grey area here, they killed this guy. How can they expect the public to respect cops and obey them when they are not held accountable to the same laws the rest of us are?
I heard this morning that none of these officers have been suspended, fired, or even put on desk duty. Is this a Coakley thing to bring charges against these cops, and if not her, then who is letting these guys get away with murder?
we learn tonight, the family of the deceased has asked for the US Attorney to take over the investigation. As reported tonight on Channel 5, 36 law enforcement people were there at the scene as it was happening, including a police chief and many lieutenants.
The lawyer representing the cops, says his clients saw nothing unusual.
That's 36 alibis and 11 minutes of pictures taken at the scene to check against.
