Amendments to the casino bill...

Last week our Rep voted against a salary cap for the Gaming Commissioner of 125,000, rejected an amendment banning casino employee's from working for the State Gaming Commission and rejected open bidding to operate slot machines at race tracks.

If and when the Senate decides the casino question, you can bet your last dollar that Beacon Hill will prosper more than any group of people and will be just another in a long list of flawed politically biased decisions that will haunt us for years.

What is her reasoning for these 3 votes? They seem to go against what would be good for her constituents, so why did she vote against them? And did these pass, was she voting with the majority or in the minority? More information here Jim. I depend on you to do this work for me so I don’t have to do it myself.

It's all about what DeLeo wants FR.

The votes were as lopsided as usual,
22 to 133 against a salary cap on the Commish, 9 to 146 to ban casino workers from working for the Gaming Commission, and 13 to 142 who voted against open bidding.

She's always in the majority voting, as that's what her boss DeLeo wants.

Lately it seems like every time Richardson opens her mouth it to make a fool of herself. She messed up getting that grant to clean up the mess at General Chemical, she wants to give illegals more financial aid to go to college than my kids get, and now she wants no restrictions or accountability on this casino stuff. Is the democratic party truly that out of touch that they think these things are what their constituents want, or is Richardson just a rougue democrat? I am hoping the later is the case, because I would certainly hate to see the democrats in town supporting these kids of actions.

You are talking about Richardson here, right? Dam good thing we are going to have a choice other than her in the November election.

Richardson is still the incumbant, and still the favored person for the local dems. Unless you can overcome that hurdle, you are going to have a tough fight to beat her, even though she is an idiot.

Like my mother always said, you give an idiot enough rope and they will hang themselves without any help from you. Richardson is proving just how smart my mother was. Don’t battle her Pillsbury, you don’t need to do that. Let her record speak for itself and stay focused on your platform. Politicians should not be elected because of the stupidity of their opponents. They should be elected because of their willingness to do what their constituents want. That is something that has been lost here in MA politics. Hopefully, you will bring that quality back. Don’t get in the mud with her. It is never a good idea for a man to attack a woman, even in a debate, it will back-fire on you, so don’t do that. Just let her talk and she will do more damage to herself than you could do in a month of Sundays.

How true Help. I'm relying on those who are not connected to the State's payroll and clearly see her and her alliance to DeLeo as the problem.

All incumbents will be scrutinized this year like no other and with 35 seats up for grabs this year, the House is poised to change it's dysfunctional ways. Look what happened to Larkins.... shot down in April by her own party.

That General Chemical problem could very well end up to be our little Nayanza and if any of you remember what happened in Ashland over the years, denial was in everyone's talk, except for the residents who lived by that hell whole.

This may be more of a nightmare for the Town than social services ever were. That passed over grant money sure could have helped the area.

A wise women your mother was Gandalf and thanks for reminding me.

My mother once told me, I was never to old to learn new things and she was right also.

Seems everything I read here is about the screwups of politicians. Way too much of that going on all over this country. Makes Sarah Palin look like a simple idiot instead of a dangerous person. Richardson even makes Sarah Palin look smart. Guess it is all relative.

I remember Nayanza, and I also remember that you sued Ashland and won over something else. Maybe the residents of Framingham should sue Framingham for allowing that General Chemical sh** to go on. Contaminated water in someone's cellar in all the rain last month? That is just the tip of the iceberg I bet, but I wonder if anyone is going to bother looking below the water line. Richardson won't. She does not want to scare anybody. Seems she thinks the dumber you are, the less you know, the more likely you are to vote for her. Well, at least she has the right, only a dumb ass will vote for her in November.

Casino bleed money from the poor, spawn addiction, invite a criminal elements that spur more illegal activity, and will end up costing us more in moral finances the actual benefit in monetary cash-flow. Keep Framingham and Massachusetts free of Casinos.
