More reefer madness from Grove, King and Richardson and the killing of 29 beavers

Have a looksee at last nights City Council meeting. The best and most informative part of this and most all of their meetings is the Mayor's report give by COO Keezer.
Skip to 1:25:00 where the fun begins and lies and mis-information run unquestioned. King wants to exstort money our of testing labs in a host agreement, Richardson wants the 5 year contract to be never ending, Grove wants more cops to inspect dumpsters and claims that there is "deep police involvement" along with citing a meeting last Saturday at Tripp Street, "many neighbors are worried over the grow facility". I was there and that's just not the case at all. Her and her only friend and Judy Margulis were there.  That will get your blood boiling and if that didn't rile you, at 1:58:51 you will hear Mike Cannon ask again how the beavers were killed and who initiated the process.

I voted for Judy Grove but have been deeply disappointed in her performance. She speaks often about "hearing from her constituents". I, and many, many of my neighbors have spoken to her many times about pot shops and how we support them. Yet she never mentions those conversations. She is like a dog with a bone and that is not a good characteristic for a city councilor to have.

We need more cops to go dumpster diving? So we are more worried about pot residue being disposed of than we are about underage drinking, suicides, opioid deaths or women getting beaten up by their partners. What the hell has happened to our community? Framingham was once a caring and welcoming place to live. Now we are all about bullying those who want something that is legal but that the powers that be don’t want and we are willing to spend all our time and money having cops try to find issues with these places instead of being concerned about our citizens. You want to help the addiction issues in Framingham? How about stopping liquour stores from selling to people who come in drunk, restaurants serving under age patrons, and docs handing out prescriptions in their pill mills. But no, those are tough issues to deal with so Framingham goes after the low hanging fruit and tries to create issues where there are none.

I have to say that given all the issues that seem to come up at our city council, zoning and planning committee meetings, I think the Mayor was totally out of touch in her state of the city address where she did not mention any of these issues.......no beaver talk, no pot talk. Might be nice for her to attend a city council meeting so she could learn about what is really going on here in Framingham. I voted for her. But I won't do that again.

Host agreements are legalized blackmail and these people who are pushing for them and demanding them should be treated like the criminals they are. Shame on Richardson. She is a lawyer and that means she knows what shaky ground they are on with these agreements to start with. At some point a company dealing with this issue is going to have the back bone to stand up to these people and then the lawsuits will start to fly.

SURPRISED AT GEORGE KING. I WOULD HAVE EXPECTED HIM TO BE MORE RATIONAL.

This post is from Dec 13th 018:

In the past few weeks a licensed trapper took 29 beavers from Framingham water ways. Two of them weighed in at 70Lbs. From talking with the DPW and Conservation heads I got the skinny on how this came to be. Beavers have built lodges around reservoir 1 and other areas around Singletary. DPW has made attempts to unclog the drains, but roads were being effected and so (i heard) some homeowners were effected. Now the MSPCA and Peta have reportedly sent a letter to Mayor Spicer. I'm not convinced she would do anything to stop this from happening in the future. Who I do trust to do the right thing is Peter Sellers at the DPW. I didn't know that the last time this happened was in 2014. I wonder if the local media covered that. This is on Boston.com this morning.

Perhaps George made a mistake. We have all been known to do that. Let's give him the benefit of the doubt

God Jim, Cannon is an otter embarrassment to your district. Bitch bitch bitch that is all that guy does.

I would take Cannon over some of the other district councilors. At least he has the guts to speak up and makes sure he knows what he is talking about before he does that

Mike C. speaks up not to improve things but only to publicly embarrass Yvonne and her staff.
