one more trooper pleads guilty

I never get tired of writing about the State Troopers pleading guilty of being greedy in the over time scandal that has shown how corrupt our top dog coppers are in real life. Suspended Trooper Heath McAuliffe agreed to plead guilty to collecting 7,860.00 for overtime hours between August 2015 and August 2016. The feds are recommending 6 to 12 months in jail.

How many does this make for those who have plead or been found guilty?

This investigation has been going on for while. Have they found all the troopers who were committing fraud by getting paid for time not worked, or is there still a potential for more charges Jim?

I'll say it again. We need to get rid of every single state cop who oversaw the operations of the people involved in this scandal. A supervisors responsibility is to oversee, manage and supervise the people reporting to them. This obviously did not happen in the ranks of the staties. More heads should be rolling on this

The Federal prosecutor has said he will look back as many years as they have records. Many of the perpetrators have already retired, so the question is, do the feds still prosecute?

I agree.. lots more administrative people who knew full well what was going on.. and.. participated in the scheme. Beacon Hill is not afraid of the voters... they are petrified of State Cops.

They are not afraid of us (the voters) because we don't vote them out when they don't represent us well. When we start holding them accountable things will change
