Already told you before Jimbo, all eyes should be on the D8 race - paying close attention to the absentee ballots.

Is there going to be any debates for the preliminary races? LWV doing anything?

If Gerry Bloomfield wins I hope he gets seated next to Cannon. That way when they go around the Council doing show-and-tell I know I'd have at least 20 minutes to do some house chores between Bloomfield's blathering on and Cannon's mayor rants.

Glad to hear the League will be holding forums. Only way we get to know anything worthwhile about these candidates. Will they be taking questions from the audience at all?

no one is even paying attention to these races as everyone is all caught up in the damm democratic debates being held more than a year before the election. We need to start paying more attention to local politics and shame on us for having so many candidates run unopposed

as in the past, we will take questions from as many as time permits. We will be on Face Book as well as AF TV and Gov Access... we may need your help on that one.

It's still early for us I think. A few signs are already out, but the League is going to do everything we can to help drive voter turnout.

How would a councilperson ever know whats going on or get anything done as a collective body if they weren't connected to the web? He never knows what he is talking about or even what the subject is. It's up to Norton and Christine in my opinion.

Remember when the Charter folks said there would be more participation in City Government? I hope everyone does, because it's looking more like Town Meeting in this election cycle. The insiders are replacing the insiders from last election.
About the blanks... I look at them every election and it'll be fascinating to see how many there are and how many voters show up.

You got that right Jim, its insider-city. And how many are from Framingham First? Almost half of all the seats for council and schools are 1 candidate races. So much for the garbage that City Charter folks sold us that we would see more involvement.

Forget about cannon he’s just an annoying flea. Letting Mr Library get some power to rule over his creation is some scary stuff.
