Everyone wants to be in the CBD business now... including the Gronk

Rob Gronkowski getting into the CBD
business.
He made the announcement about his
partnership with CBDMedic, a product of Woonsocket, Rhode Island’s Abacus Medical Products,
Tuesday morning in a New York City hotel. The product was described as a line
of topical creams for pain relief.
The former New England Patriots
tight end said he originally discovered the product through his father, who
used it for back pain. Gronk said he started using it after his retirement from
his NFL career.
Gronk also said he plans to use his
platform to advocate for CBD pain products to be allowed for use by
professional athletes.
“I’m here today to appeal to the
sports governing bodies of the world to update their position on CBD -- whether
that’s the NBA, MLB or NFL -- it’s just time,” he said.
“I’m advocating for CBD to be
acceptable for all players to be used for recovery,” he said.
During the press conference, Gronk
faced the inevitable question about his potential return to football. He became
emotional during his response, saying he couldn’t have continued playing but
did not rule out a future return.
“I want to be clear to my fans, I
needed to recover. I was not in a good place. Football was bringing me down and
I didn’t like it,” he said.

Lots of money in this business, and lots of benefits. Lots of prominent people also, so why not Gronk? It will be interesting to see the NFLs response to this.
Is this stuff legal to buy or not? I see it on the shelfs everywhere but then I see stories about the FDA saying you can't sell it as it has not been tested for human consumption. So what is the deal with this CBD stuff.
a drug is a drug no matter what you call it so this is a drug and you will end up addicted if you use it so don't start down that slippery slope and use oxcy instead which after all is completely safe
no one is addicted to CBD topical cream.. no one
The cat was let out of the bag when Congress approved the 2018 Farm Bill. Then, the FDA and others stepped in and said it was illegal to sell if you claim it has medicinal properties.
And you will see it sold in every store, including high end stores that want a piece of the action. And the TV ad's are none stop for CBD products.
Our own Mass Department of Agriculture has also said hemp and it's derivatives are not allowed for sale here in Mass.As far as I've heard, no company has been fined or told not to sell it here in the Ham... yet.
Wonderful article, thanks for putting this together! This is obviously one great post. Thanks for the valuable information and insights you have so provided here.
