Buying the Perini building

It will be interesting to hear where the money is coming from and what will happen to the Memorial Building. Seems like we have little choice as imo their minds are already made up.

 From the Patch:

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Framingham city officials will discuss the possibility of buying the Perini Building as a "solution to several challenges." The Framingham School Department leases space in the building, but the lease ends in January.
Mayor Yvonne Spicer's office will host a public meeting with Chief Financial Officer Mary Ellen Kelley on Monday at the Framingham Public Library.
"In the past, the Perini Building has been discussed as a possible asset to the city of Framingham and a solution to several challenges. Everyone is invited to hear an update on the viability of purchasing the Perini Building," a press release reads.
The Perini Building owner said in May that the property would go up for sale.
The building is located at 73 Mt. Wayte Ave. The Monday public forum starts at 7 p.m. in the Costin Room.
