heartbreaking revelations from Uvalde
The head of the Texas Department of Public Safety gives some very disturbing facts. Those poor children and teachers had to wait while the heavily armed cops were in the hallway... waiting… for a key to the door that wasn’t locked. I hope all of those cops are charged with negligent homicide and resign.

Imagine the horror these parents are facing knowing how long their kids may have been in that room terrified of the shooter with no one coming to help them. Unimaginable horror their parents will live with for every second of every day for the rest of their lives.
My kid asked me last week if a shooter came to his school, would the police be afraid to come in to save him? How do you answer that question from an 8 year old?
oh boy Mom... I'm without advice. I'll bet you can answer him with conviction.

And with the SJCs decision today on the 100 year old New York law things are only going to get worse.
There are no words for what should happen to those officers who stood in the school listening to gun shots knowing kids were being killed. What happened to defend and protect?
