New Recycle Bins

There will be an informational meeting at Cameron School on Wednesday night at 7PM. The purpose of this public meeting is to ask questions and see the new recycling carts.

The new 96 gallon cart will be available soon and the new Bi-weekly recycling begins Sept 6th. You may choose a smaller, 64 gallon recycling cart or the 96 by calling 508 532 6001.

Nice job on this Jim. It was interesting to see this explained on Wicked Green before we had to vote on it.

Let’s see how easy it is to move these 96 gallon barrells around. I suspect they are not going to be quite as easy to manipulate as we have been told. Can I get more than one of the 64 gallon barrells if I want that instead of the 96 gallon one?

JW... I would think so. And the 96 has wheels so it may not be tuff to move. One other beeny for every other week pick up... one less trip for the trucks to slow traffic.

I've seen at all now folks.. a detail cop at Cameron with 40 people signing up for larger recycle carts.

When I asked one young lady about why a detail cop, she said if there's a hundred people at a gathering, a detail cop is mandated.

One manger said the same, but the number was 150.

Funny thing about that policy, I didn't see one detail cop at either of the candidates nights this year.

I will ask about this policy from the departing Town Manager Suso.

JW... I asked about your request. They say, either one or the other.. not two of the 62 gallon.

I hope you can mange with either.

So if you need a detail cop for 100 or 150 people, why was there a cop there with only 40 people in attendance? Sounds like more of the same BS to me.
