DiMasi gets his pension... for now

A Boston judge has issued an order for the retirement board to give the indicted former speaker of the House, his 5,000 a month pension and 40,000 in back payments.

I wonder if DiMasi will have to pay back that money if he is found guilty. Let's hope so.

This sucks but it is a done deal. We have other things to worry about in this state, like making sure this does not happen again in the future, and figuing out how to pay the state bills on a budget that is short millions. Lets not waste time spinning our wheels on things we can not change.

How can this possibly be fair? Would a regular blue collare state employee who did the same things he did get their full pension? This system has got to change.
