9.11 Rembered

We pay our respect to those who died from the attack on the World Trade Center and those who have died as a result trying to find survivors. And all Trump does is tweet about more bulls..it. What a President we ended with.

From Fast Forward:

As mentioned earlier, the worst terrorist attack on US soil happened 17 years ago, killing 2,977 people (and 19 hijackers) in New York City, Pennsylvania, and at the Pentagon. Dozens more died later of cancer and respiratory diseases related to the attacks. On this sad and somber day, this was the first tweet from Trump this morning:
"We have found nothing to show collusion between President Trump & Russia, absolutely zero, but every day we get more documentation showing collusion between the FBI & DOJ, the Hillary campaign, foreign spies & Russians, incredible." @SaraCarterDC @LouDobbs
He then retweeted a photo of himself signing a 9/11 proclamation with no comment, but soon got back to what's really important:
New Strzok-Page texts reveal "Media Leak Strategy." @FoxNews So terrible, and NOTHING is being done at DOJ or FBI - but the world is watching, and they get it completely.
And then:
"ERIC Holder could be running the Justice Department right now and it would be behaving no differently than it is." @LouDobbs
Reminds me of the TV interview he did by phone on the day of the tragedy, when he was a N.Y. real estate developer. After saying the attack was "hard to believe," he had a Trumpian epiphany about one of his buildings, 40 Wall Street, that he shared with the stunned interviewer:

40 Wall Street actually was the second-tallest building in downtown Manhattan, and it was actually, before the World Trade Center, was the tallest — and then, when they built the World Trade Center, it became known as the second-tallest. And now it's the tallest.

He and Melania are in Shanksville, Penn., today to visit the Flight 93 National Memorial, part of which is a new 93-foot, concrete and steel tower containing 40 wind chimes, each with a distinctive sound in honor of each of the passengers and crew members who died when one of the hijacked planes crashed into that field. Please don't diverge from the speechwriter's text. Please.
