The Mayor is paying for her trip to Honolulu

Then why go? This is what Mayor's do on the tax payers dime.

FRAMINGHAM, MA - The United States Conference of Mayors’ 87th Annual Meeting will take place June 28-July 1, 2019 in Honolulu, HI. Dr. Yvonne M. Spicer will attend, joining mayors from across the country, and is personally paying for her travel expenses. As inaccurately reported, the City will not be footing the bill for the Mayor’s travel.

Glad to hear that, but shame on the people who reported otherwise. If you can not verify the facts then don't publish. That is fake news.

Who published wrong info? My money is on Source as she is more concerned with being first than with being right which is why I don't go to that site anymore

I agree about Source. She is always posting First on Source, even when she isn't first with the news. Plus she is focused on school sports and police logs. She posts what people send her and never writes about anything other than sports events herself. Glad to have a place to get that information but it certainly is not the "source" of any valuable information if you don't have kids in school. Plus on more than one occasion I have found her reporting to not exactly be what I would hope for from a professional journalist. If you are going to publish everything people send you under the guise of a press release than you are giving away your journalistic integrity to whoever sends you information. The very least Source should do is to verify the information is correct which it seems clear she does not do.

If your going to tell a story...get another side of the tale. To often the reporting is just one sided, just begging for an opposing view and or an in depth question.

Do you want your news fast or do you want your news accurate? Fast then read the Source. Accurate then read MWD News. I am not a Trump. I prefer the accurate, true, verified news myself, although I do get a kick out of some of that other stuff.

How did this become about Source?

I'm not sure who wrote or stated somewhere that the trip was on the tax payers dime.

Jim the source is ALL one sided. Petroni got caught this time really showing her bias. So unbelievably blatant!!!

And what likely shocked the shit out of her, someone over at the City Hall has wised up and started taking screen shots. Maybe the mayor is deciding to finally fight back.

Bad news for Sue's friends that are running. Her credibility is now up in the air and many will now be watching her under a magnifying glass. It will be harder to bias her stories now.

There is no way this one gotcha is going stop the Source from its biased reporting.

I would agree. We desperately need straight and unbiased reporting. Is the MWDN guilty of this as well?

Every newspaper has some bias, Metrowest Daily is no exception. Source though is completely one-sided. Its more a blog than a newspaper.

Ah, Source bashing. The Source never said in the article the city was paying for Spicer's trip. Commenters assumed that. Good to see the spin and revisionist history is alive and well in Framingham. No wonder why we can't anything done, everyone is in a pissing match to prove who is right and who is wrong.
