The Russian war on Ukraine

I have no doubt, after watching the horrific scenes of innocent civilians butchered in the streets of Ukraine for the past week, the rest of the NATO countries will have to step in and stop Putin and his invading forces. How much different is this than any other genocide that we have seen? People much smarter and knowledgeable about the current actions than I say we can’t have WW 111 but I can’t see how we can avoid it now. How many more innocent people have to die before we and others stop it?

The world economy is at stake imo. What will be left of Ukraine if NATO doesn’t step in to stop the wholesale destruction of an entire country and its people?

Sanctions are slowly starting to be felt by Putin and the Russian economy but they haven’t slowed Putin’s forces yet and the Russian people are fed a diet of lies and mis-information so this war has blind support from many Russians.

What about the accusations of the Russians using chemical weapons? If that is the case do you think Nato will finally step in?

With North Korea testing a new ballistic missile last month that can reach the east cost of the US the world is on the precipice of disaster. The only positive I see currently is that Trump, a fan of both Putin and Kim Jong-un, is no longer president. Just think of the how different things might be in this world right now.

They seem to need convincing that chemical were used. I heard today on CNN, the Russians were mixing the agents of death with tear gas to disguise it.

I think if they use chemicals, NATO will step in.

Two opposing views on Trump. My opinion, Putin would play Trump like a broken flute.

As my dear departed mother use to say, we are all going to hell in a handbasket, and Putin, not the Easter bunny, are carrying the basket.

Give those brave Ukrainian's credit... they seem to have sunk one of Putin's prized war ship. A small victory but important for the cause.
