From Axios: State Police leave their day jobs for OT

Have a look at the report by the Inspector General. The report shows that MSP are leaving their usual assignments early, taking sick or vacation time so the troopers may get OT details. The pattern of OT abuse is still alive and well at MSP. My question is, can that happen here in Framingham?

After years of hearing about abuse of the pay system by these cops it is more than disheartening to see this pattern of abuse continue. Are there are methods that would work to make these losers who call themselves state police officers obey the law they are paid to uphold?

Colonel Mason has left. A temporary 30 year veteran of the MSP is running the show now. But as most know, it's the veterans of the force who look the other way. They're the ones who conspired to fudge time sheets and allow illegal behavior. Hopefully the new guy or gal, will come from the outside with a proven track record of sucess in cleaning up a large elite police force.
