help put ranked choice voting on the ballot
As many of you know, the pandemic has changed how petitioners get people to sign a petition form. Beacon Hill didn't do anything about changing the way and amount of signatures needed, so a Judge did. Beacon Hill also has until July to adopt a ballott question into law... but like most public policy changes that the people want and support, Beacon Hill has not the political will or the common sense to do so.
So the first of 4 ballot committees have started the process where by you can sign a ballot on the web site. Easy peasy
Rank choice voting is something I want to see on the ballot for the voters to decide. If you feel the same... go to the web site and sign their ballot.

Jim I don't get rank choice voting. Is the LWV going to do some event virtually or in person to explain this soon? Would be helpful for sure.
How many ballot question this year and what are they? Where can I find that information?
I should have been more complete.
4 Questions:
Right to Repair
Rank Choice Voting
Nursing Home funding
Beer and Wine in food stores
Lots of information here:

We were just talking about how we can present both sides of the issues... remotely during the summer. We will do something, I'm just not sure in what format we can get the most to watch.
Thanks for the info and please be sure to publicize what the LWV will be doing. I have gotten a lot of good information from the LWV Framingham Facebook page.
Our right to vote, and to be informed voters is in danger as this virus changes so many things we took for granted. I hope we can vote by mail and do candidate and ballot forums via some sort of video. If this virus ramps up in the fall as many say it will we will need to have all these options in place. If we wait until September to start thinking about these things it will be too late. I am counting on the LWV or you Jim to help inform the voters on things like ranked choice voting and the right to repair. I would say nursing home funding is a no brainer now but would still like to hear more about it and the only place we will get that information is from the LWV. Thanks for bringing it back to Framingham Jim and I am hoping it will continue to serve our community now even more than before as this year is going to be a very different type of election season for many reasons and we need to all be informed voters
