the Total number of COVID cases here

Seems to be hard to nail down. The MWDN reports that there are 20 residents and 10 staff member's at St Patrick's Manor have tested positive.

The number of people in the City who have tested positive for COVID-19 is now 374. With 101 cases recovered and nine fatalities, Framingham currently has 264 active cases.

What we didn't hear from Sam Wong last night was how many inmates have tested positive, in isolation or in quarantine, if that's even possible, at MCI Framingham.

MWDN reported 4 cops are out after testing positive and three others are in self-quarantine.

And the Patch reports:

MetroWest Medical Center Framingham — has 36 cases and 11 in the ICU

MetroWest Medical Center Natick — has 17 cases with 4 in the ICU

So the total I guess is 264 active cases as of yesterday.

I saw somewhere there are lots of cases at MCI, close to 30 between inmates and staff. I am concerned that we don't seem to be able to get an accurate count but that is the nature of the beast I guess

One case is too many and until we have tested a lot more people or we have a vaccine we should not be stopping social distancing and face masks!
