Rookie State Cop is fired over alleged racial slurs

The trooper just graduated in May and was out of the Danvers barracks. The trooper, (who is under his 1 year probationary period)  approached a male in a stationary vehicle while off duty in Revere last weekend. Not much more was released by Colonel Mason. The Globe will get the troopers name I'm sure.

I guess the new training may not be working that well.

What exactly is wrong with approaching someone when you are a cop?

I'm hoping more info on this will appear. If the allegations are supported, it appears that any racial sensitivity training at the State Police Academy may be lacking. After all, Colonel Mason promised better training.
