Body cams for State Police... No party for Charlie
We the people got an early Holiday gift... body cams for the State Police. Now lets just hope they use them.
Our new Mayor will not have a grand ceremony due to the newest numbers of covid infections here and just about everywhere else. Instead, the swearing in will take place live on gov tv as well as FB. I look forward to see the end of the nasty comments from the Spicer haters. Charlie is white and I'll bet those who hated the fact we had a black mayor will just fad away, perhaps move to another town.
Any bets on if anyone from Mayor Spicer's administration we get the ax when Charlie takes over. It would be poetic justice for him to start with an empty office. I would bet Thatcher will be gone immediately. Charlie may ask Bob Halpin or Dennis or Cheryl to fill in temporally. He's putting the band back together.

I was wrong about the COO.. Charlie picked Mike Tusino from Inspectional Services. Mike did a great job there and will be hard to replace. The guy is unshakable imo. I'm sure he can handle those on the council who want to be argumentative. I wonder if the jobs were posted somewhere?
The new CFO is next door in Wayland as the CFO/COO. She has lots of real world experience.
I wish them both luck.
