The Mayor's farewell speech to the Council
Have a looksee at last night's CC meeting. It exemplifies the disdain and lack of respect the council has for the Mayor. At one point King is ready to go into recess if the Mayor continues with her speech. You could feel the anger they have for her. It's disgraceful and indicative of how both council chairs have treated her from the very beginning.
If you have FB, look at the comments from last night's meeting. Another example of the white people in Town who never wanted a black mayor.
Moving forward I can only think that a good old boy Mayor won't be treated poorly by the likes of Cannon, Lumbrono and King. The only question now is, who is the new Council chair. And will he or she be our next Mayor if Charlie can't perform his duties.

George King needs to go. Vote him out in two years. Hopefully he'll realize it's time to retire from local politics.
He's a decent guy, but there does come a time when public servants should call it a career. We need new people.
The people of Framingham will soon reap what they sowed. Even Harold Wolfe who hated Yvonne Spicer said he would stick with her over Charlie. The shitstorm is coming Framingham.
