More clarity on crime stats
If you want to see a clearer picture of crime stats in this Town and all other Towns and cities in the State have a look at this web site. You can see by year and category what I think needs to be seen by the public.

Where did these numbers come from since Framingham does not seem to break them down this way themselves
From the Pioneer Institute. My guess is that the crime stats they publish for each community are the likely stats the public and the elected officials should want to know. They have distributed over 3,000 copies of their research to city and town finance committee members throughout Massachusetts. Not sure if anyone gets them here but they should.
Good to know someone is keeping track of this since Framingham is obviously trying to hide a lot of this information from us
