Saving Eastleigh.... a Hollywood production
Have a looksee at this professionally done video by the Hollywood actor which is going to grow pot on the farm. This video features an almost teary eyed Charlie Sistky supporting Doug Stehen's attempt to save the farm from development. Notice not one mention of marijuana in the video. And for those of you who weren't around when we passed medical marijuana, Charlie stood against the medical dispensaries even going so far as supporting a moratorium and an overly restrictive zoning district. While the video is well made and edited and the cause is a good one, the hippocracy is stunning. The Town and City leaders who have stood in the way of this industry coming to the Ham seem to forget what they have already done, but now it's ok, because Doug is their friend and ally.

What's the beef Jim? You seem to be picking a fight over old news. Everyone being on board now is a good thing so why be nasty about their former positions. Everyone is entitled to change their mind, or would you rather they continue to oppose it?
They have apposed it for 3 years now. We still don't have a retail store. Framingham has lost millions in revenue because of their opposition. They changed their minds after Doug announced he would let the actor grow pot there.
The important thing is they are onboard now. And the delays for the shops opening is on the shops themselves, not the city. THey have not completed what needs to be done to get approval to open from the state, so don't blame the city council or mayors for the delay at this point even thought they did slow it down in the beginning. Just seems those shops looking to open in Framingham are not yet ready to do the work they need to do for that to happen.
That's absolutely wrong poster. You haven't been paying attention.
And the point was, there was no mention at all about growing pot to save the farm in the slick video.
Jimbo you only have to look at the campaign fiance reports to see who Dougie contributed to. Everybody should look back and follow the money and even look now and follow the money. Always a pattern.
