More revelations from a convicted State Cop
Ask anyone who drives for a living, how many times do you see someone pulled over in bad weather. Now we learn, it was a policy at the State Police and may still be. Have a look at the piece Channel 5 did... again. The most recent admission was, boxes of fake tickets were shredded when this cop found out about the OT investigation.

How the hell do they get away with this type of behavior and when is it going to stop?
Isn't this just old news at this point? The state cops will continue to do what they want and the governor will continue to allow them to do what they want. What is the news in this?
we now have sworn testimony that fake tickets were written and destroyed in the scandal and the management directed those officers to cheat and lie about where they were. The no ticketing in bad weather was my favorite. Ever see a Framingham cop pulling someone over in the rain?
What has changed at the state police to prevent this from continuing to be their normal behavior? Anything new in place to watch for this?
a few checks, but management hasn't changed much and that's were it begins imo.
I just called Baker's office and a man let me ramble on for 5 minutes... call him at 617.725.4005 or write to Gov Baker at constituent.services@state.ma.us
tonight Channel 5 reports that Federal Judge Mark Wolf is questioning the prosecutors why those being convicted are not charged with more crimes, like conspiracy AND has given the prosecutors one week to respond. The cop that was to be sentenced, will have to wait. Thank you Judge Wolf. I wish I could send him an e mail.

Great news about the judge questioning these charges not being more robust. Maybe there is hope for justice after all.
Chanell 5 seems to be the only people concerned about these issues with the staties. Why is the governor not more concerned is my question
He and ALL the rest of those who are ignoring the issue are hoping it drops off everyone's radar. The problem with that is... the judicial system, channel 5 and the Boston Globe will not let us forget any time soon. It's my guess, only an uneducated guess that more charges will be coming to Dejohn and the other 49 Staties who have already been caught and not tried yet.
I hope you are right Jim!
He can not really think this is all going to go away. I think he just is not able to figure out how to fix it without pissing off the cops, and he does not want to piss those cops off.
