Is it time for Mask and Vaccine mandates? updated

 The numbers of people testing positive are unreal. The number of people dying from covid are tragic and perhaps avoidable. Without citing the latest state and local government figures, it's painfully clear, we just can't stand by while this crisis takes hold of our lives again.

If you feel the same, please write the Mayor mayor@framinghamma.gov and ask him to take action now.

After all, he did say in the Mayor's forum in October he was in favor of mask mandates.

Last night the Mayor had an discussion with the 3 member BOH to seek public input on the mask mandate. The meeting had a few anti-maskers, but the ER nurse with kids had the best and most compelling reasons why there should be a mask mandate in Framingham. She's the real deal, front line worker who has seen it all.

Nothing was decided because it was a discussion and the notice didn't say they would be voting. 

IMO, the time for asking for public input for a health care emergency is way over. What good does it do for the Mayor to hear from the public? The BOH is in favor to get one going today. Charlie seems to be affarid to make the call, even though Town Counsel said he had the authority.
