The subcommittees are now formed

Glad to see Phil had Steiner and King back on the finance committee. Although neither one or the others have the guts to ask any real questions of Police and Fire.

I don't think Cannon deserved to be put back on economic development as he did next to nothing over the past 4 years to encourage businesses to come here imo.

Glad to see Tracy on just a few committee's. Nothing personal, but I don't think she spends any time reading the background material or doing her homework. For that matter, neither does Janet.

It will be interesting to see how the newbies contribute to the process in their committees. And even of greater interest how all of them deal with Mike T. and the Mayor during the budget process.

With the exception of the zoning committee every other one is stacked so that it does not matter who chairs them

Janet Leombruno on the environment committee??? That's absurb! What the hell has she done that has been environmentally friendly? The only time she would even pick up a piece of trash is if the Source was there to do a full pictorial spread of her picking up a gum wrapper and making it out like she just saved the planet.
