Our revised budget from the administration

Last night's first go around with the revised numbers can be seen here:

https://webapps.framinghamma.gov/WebLink/Browse.aspx?id=1598418&dbid=0&repo=Framingham

The whole DC meeting can be seen at:  http://207.172.210.8:5002/CablecastPublicSite/show/2328?channel=1

while the graphs are hard to read, the important columns on the right are the one's to look at. Many small cuts were made. And much to my surprise, the administration is including in local receipts 1 million dollars in cannabis revenue. Hallelujah... my work is now paying off. It's just to bad Giombetti and company and the administration dragged their feet for so long or that would have been 2 million in revenue by now.

Medal of honor recipient retired Col. Ralph Puckett Jr

This weekend is Memorial Day and Framingham will not be holding any services. While many public events are now open at a limited crowd size, we are doing nothing to pay tribute to those who have given their lives for our country. The VSO and his assistant are leaving soon at the same time. Not sure how the administration is going to make sure benefits are going to be continued but hopefully the COO will come up with a plan.

Last week the President awarded the medal of honor to retired Col. Ralph Puckett Jr., for his actions as a first lieutenant and the Eighth Army Ranger Company commander during the Korean conflict Nov. 25-26, 1950. His story is amazing and is worth a watch.

Korean war veterans often say they are the forgotten but Col Ralph Puckett at least was not.

Mike Cannon and the Patch report

I'm sure most of you have heard about the Patch FOIA requests that have gone back a ways in regards to complaints from Town employee's about Mike.  There is some missing but the overall picture shows a pattern of volatility and disrespect that can be seen at just about every meeting he attends.

The council and fincom chairs have allowed and even encouraged this behavior from the beginning of the city form of government. This circus does nothing to solve any financial problems we have.

And unfortunately, many on the council despise our black mayor and will do anything to make her look as bad as possible.
